beautiful gown! Thank you for posting these pics and steps for draping a ruched bodice. This info is so hard to find! I am attempting a prom dress for my daughter that has a ruched bodice as well as a twisted knot design in the center of the bodice below the bust. Yikes. It’s tricky! My question for you involves doing little tack stitches along the vertical bustline to hold the ruching in place. Any tricks there? How to accomplish this on the curved bodice while having the appropriate tension on the fabric? I did a practice dress and one side wasn’t bad but the other is droopy. Maybe I just need to pin a lot more before doing the tacking stitches?
PS> I would like to be you.
