I’m a bit of a workaholic. It’s the definite pitfall of doing what you love for a job – you forget to ever stop!
Sometimes when I work too hard and forget to pause for anything more than a cup of tea Felicity has to come along and remind me to take a break.
She does this very efficiently, by the simple method spreading herself over as much of what I am working on as she can possibly cover:
It’s quite hard to work on anything with cat tummy all over it!
Especially when it’s so adorable!
Sooooooooo adorable…
And so good at her job!
Aww. Yes, Felicity is very good at being adorable, and reminding you of the value of play. Good for her (and you)!
Sigh. I’m not even a workaholic, and I have this problem.
Ooo! Is that your Knitting? the cats cry. I must Sit In It! Here, let me get that working yarn wrapped round my leg while I lick myself…
And they seem to think DPNs are designed specifically for rubbing their gums on. All right, they do look a bit like toothpicks (2mm bamboo needles) but the fact that there’s a sock hanging from them should be a bit of a clue, surely?
Alas, my cats, while cute in their own ways, do not look near as adorable as Felicity while interfering – which may be why they get a less gracious response!
Aww, she is your Workplace Health and Safety Officer.
She’s adorable. How do you get anything done?! If it wasn’t for cats, I’d have some kind of high-flying job that takes me all over the world. Instead I work from home, when allowed to clear my workspace.
Is it possible to subscribe to you blog by getting email notifications whenever there’s a new post? Please email me to let me know (otherwise, I can subscribe through Facebook but that’s another dangerous distraction.)
My dear16 year old Koko is the best sewing companion, she also lets me know when it is time for a break. I love you pictures of Felicity, she is a beauty!
Have I mentioned that Felicity is just the sweetest thing?
Felicity is such a gorgeous cat ! So fluffy !
My two tigers are more interested by fabrics, especially soft and warm ones. Patterns are not confortable enough….
She also gets those strips of fur with gaps between; father started occasionally calling our fluffy cats “armadillo” because of that effect. (It admittedly makes a little bit more sense in Czech…) And makes herself useful! While making everything and everyone useful to her, of course. Cats.
