Oh my, what a week it’s been! Teaching and sewing, a few marathon blog posts…
Time for something fun and light.
There was a professional photographer at last years Windy Lindy Noir ball, and I posed for photos in my Hula Goddess dress. I’ve just got the photos, and I can’t wait to show you how gorgeous my three favourites are:
And best of all, this one, which looks so sweet and innocent, until you notice the grotesque hand shadow: how very noir!
All the images are by Clive of Artful Dodge photography (pop over to his website and have a drool – I’m particularly in love with his pet photograph: he does pigs!)
What lovely photos! Not that you didn’t look great in the earlier ones, but these are special. Clever photographer – he can make you and your dress look terrific.
When you have a house of your own, it will have to have room for a chaise lounge! You were born for one. And Felicity would like it, too.
That chaise lounge really requires a photo in the Madame Recamier dress…
… but this one looks fabulous on it, too! I like the lighting in those photographs, particularly the first one (that really brings out the drape of the dress).
I can’t wait for the day I have a chaise! I love the hand shadow too! You look wonderful!
Ooo, the chaise picture is perfect!
Best,
Quinn
Those really are spectacular photos.
