Sometimes I am a rather strange person

I spent Christmas Eve catching moths with Madame Ornata.

And then, on Christmas day, I had free time.  And I thought to myself: “Wow, it’s Christmas, for once in my life I don’t have a to-do-list a mile long.  What would I really like to do to spoil myself?”

So I put on my grubbiest clothes and took down the shower curtains.

And there I was, on Christmas afternoon, down on my knees with a bucket of soapy water, scrubbing the shower curtains.

And I was happy as can be.

  1. Well, at least you will not have to worry about uninvited guests or going out for things. Lol.
I do some of my best cleaning on the holidays.

    P.S: That picture is hilarious.

  2. Now if you were both catching moths with your tongues, THAT would be strange. Isn’t it nice when you are such a busy person, to suddenly have actual, genuine, free time, when the doing of nothing is an act of choice. As can be scrubbing shower curtains. A clean shower curtain is a thing of true beauty, I can get that 🙂

  3. I like clean shower curtains, too. I spent most of Christmas Day in a sort of pleasant champagne haze out by the pool, watching my husband, baby, his family and some of the neighbors playing in the pool. Not terrible on the whole.
