Join me for an Otari Hoodie Sew-Along! Starting tomorrow I’ll be covering every step of making an awesome Otari Hoodie, from choosing your fabric, to some pattern hacks, to all the finishing details.
Detailed posts will be here on thedreamstress.com, and you can follow along on Instagram with @scrooppatterns, and share your own progress with the tag #otarioctober
Hope to see you sewing with us!
Hoodies . Those look awesome.
I love the Fantail historical skirt, but alas! I don’t have the necessary sewing skills to
a) add set-in pockets (a sine qua non for me these days) and
b) add a waistband adjuster – those little doohickies with two buttons and one buttonhole. (Why men’s tailored trousers get them when men don’t change shape by the week, I don’t know!)
So for now I’ll just keep drooling over the pattern while I work on gradually upskilling. I’ve thought of commissioning someone with better skills to make one for me, but I don’t know a) who takes commissions of that sort and b) what it would cost.
