Oh wow….. that’s a LOT of trim on a very busy dress!!!!!
It’s funny because I was thinking “It’s not that busy actually…” and then I realised that’s because my gauge is the extremely elaborate and detailed i.e. even busier large glass centerpiece that was on display next to these clothes. Which obviously you actually cannot see!
There’s never too much trim in the 18th century!
