Remember my Capelet of Yay? I wondered if it might turn out to be just a bit of fun, but I love that thing so much, and wear it all the time. It’s the perfect mix of wrap, jacket and scarf. It goes over my top as a warm indoor wrap, or over or under my coat as a scarf. It’s super comfy and snuggly, but looks elegant and glamorous.
Felicity loved it when I was making it. She made it very hard for me to cut and sew!
Cats make the best pattern weights – mine help me out a lot 🙂
I also approve your reading choice. 😉
FelicityDawww Felicity 🙂
This is why I take my adorable doggiedoggie for a long walk before starting anything that takes floor space. If she’s not napping, she LOVES finding ways to be in my line of sight!
My day needed that! Thank you!
I love your Felicity posts, she is such a pretty kitty!
And I can relate so much to the cats-as-pattern-weights-problem, mine do that all the time, too. “Oh, you want to handsew that blind hem? No, don’t, cuddle me, look, I’m waaaay more cuddly than your stupid dress.”
Ha-ha-ha. A project has to be cat-approved first! A general rule of sewing, I think.
It’s a lovely wrap, and Felicity is a lovely cat.
The wonderful and much talked about Felicity. What a beauty she is.
The wonderful and much talked about Felicity. What a beauty she is. (The caplet is of course lovely too).
Haha! Yes, I love the capelet, but it can’t compete with Felicity!
